My research paper is on Dementia and what it does to our lives. It covers what dementia is and how it relates to Alzheimer’s disease, what tests are done to diagnose dementia, what dementia does to your brain, and the effects on the caregivers of dementia patients.

My Casebook consists of several annotated citations that I did to prepare for my final project.
Page 5: Visual Analysis
My visual analysis is done on a picture that I feel represents Dementia. The Photo is of a man with dementia that is having a visit with his son. I describe what the picture says to me.
Evaluation of my work:
This site has work that I had to write for this English class. The easiest part I found for writing essay papers is the body. The hardest part if the introduction and getting started.
I would have to say that the parts of writing that works best for me would be getting feedback and revising. Getting feedback on my work is always good for me, I learn a lot from my peers.
The part of the writing process I need to work on would be the prewriting. Getting started is always hard for me. I have a habit of jumping right into the paper instead of doing any prewriting. I think prewriting would help me with my paper in the long run.
My strengths in my work is organization, visual design and descriptions.
My weaknesses in my work is introductions, conclusions, and thesis statement.
Evaluation of my performance:
Contribution: I feel that I contributed by giving peer feedback to my classmates and turning my own work in on time.
Could have done better: I could have done better with the organization of class materials.
The grade I think I deserve: I think I deserve an A.
What I've learned: I learned a lot in this class but I think the major thing that I learned is English not being as bad as I thought. I learned what a casebook is and how to develop one. I learned what an ePortfolio is and how to make one. I learned not to underestimate myself and my abilities.
